The ISIS Project: (Intimate Sessions for Informed Sexuality) will involve intense self-discovery, knowledge and transformation for Sisters who are ready to love and care for themselves first! The ISIS Project will bring Black women from various neighborhoods and kitchen tables together for three hours of honest dialog about our spirituality and sexuality and how we embrace these elements within our being.

The mission of the ISIS Project is to educate and empower Black women about cervical cancer and the Human Papillomavirus (HPV), and the need for regular screening to ensure early diagnosis and treatment. Our vision is to create optimal health and wellness throughout the life cycle of Black women, taking into account the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual components of our lives.

In these sessions we will:

1. Discuss our sexual principles and practices as women of faith.

2. Provide information on HPV and Cervical Cancer and their links with our sexual practices.

3. Educate how to achieve and maintain optimal sexual health (including the prevention of cervical cancer).
